Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Tesi. It is a joy to share, with you, a few of the experiences I've captured through the lens of my camera.
Photography has been a passion of mine, for only a few years. It was accidental yet divinely appointed and intentional. If that sounds confusing, allow me to elaborate just a little.
I will try to be brief...
In February of 2008 our 17 year-old son, Alex, was killed in an automobile accident. Promoted immediately into heaven. Life as we knew it became unbearable and crippling. Our faith took a brutal beating for a few seasons, but as only God can, He pulled us "together." Literally. We did not fall apart as a family, we fell together. Our then 11 year-old son, Hayden, my husband and myself, endured pain and suffering like none we had ever imagined, but God. God held us. Tightly. Closely. Intimately. Together. He holds us still.
With Him, we survived this great loss. Keeping a very present God close in our sufferings, has been instrumental in our healing and perseverance. We are eternally grateful for the love, mercy, grace, and comfort, that has been shown to us. We are stronger for it.

June of 2013 we planned a returned trip to Ireland and Scotland. I asked my husband, Coby, for a new camera. I longed to pull the vast landscapes through the lens in such a way that others would feel they had personally experienced a bit of this magical kingdom. That was the sole purpose of asking for a new camera. I had no real talent to speak of just a desire to share my experiences with others. I'd like to say that was the defining moment that brought out the love of photography for me, but it wasn't. Don't get me wrong it was magical and I love Ireland and Scotland, but my love for photography did not develop in the UK, only my longing to share.
On January 9, 2013 my husband was walking through our dining room. He paused at the table, staring out the window. He motioned for me to come to him. I was sitting in our living room. He spoke very softly, "Get your camera. Move slow. Sneak beside the curtains. Turn and shoot."
By his actions and words I could tell there was something on our water fountain, just outside the dining room window. I did just as he said. I carefully reached for my camera sitting on the table. While standing with my back to the window I pulled the camera to me, turned it on, turned and clicked. I got one shot! Through the blinds! No time to focus or evaluate my settings. Just turned, pointed and snapped.
My subject flew off immediately. I wasn't even sure what I had captured until viewing the image with Coby ( subject featured below). Upon inspection I experienced a level of joy I didn't imagine–couldn't imagine, I would ever experience again.
God used the lens of my camera as His instrument to introduce the true joy that comes after the mourning. With one click I noticed God in the details. I was aware of His presence... He never felt closer.
It is my desire to help others experience through photography, His undeniable existence and presence. Look closely. He's always in the details.
With Great Joy,
Tesi
